How to properly care for your ROPE RUNNER PRO?

It is important to check your equipment daily to make sure everything is in good condition
functional condition and this also applies to your Rope Runner Pro. If you find "BIRD" at the top
Rope Runner Pro does not bounce back like it did when new or has an audible squeaking sound,
it will probably need to be cleaned.

This video provides a quick but detailed overview of how to clean and lubricate your Rope Runner Pro.

- check the spring in "BIRD" by pushing on the top
- if there is no recoil, the Rope Runner Pro should be returned to the manufacturer for assessment (see HERE)
- if the unit rebounds but with reduced speed or distance, clean and lubricate the unit as below

How to clean ROPE RUNNER PRO:
- apply WD40 or similar cleaner by spraying between the "BIRD" side plates
- spray inside the lubrication hole (if available)
- this may need to be repeated several times depending on the severity of the dirt build-up
- test the "BIRD" function as above
- if there is an improvement, continue with the cleaning
- if the spring has not improved, return the ROPE RUNNER to the manufacturer for evaluation
- allow the unit to dry completely
- apply 3in1 or similar cleaner between the "BIRD" side plates
- spray inside the lubrication hole (if available)
- perform a functional test and a load test as described in the user manual
- always test the ROPE RUNNER PRO before each use

Why WD40?
Any solvent cleaner, when rinsed and then applied, works well.
WD40 is a solvent. That's why it cleans well. It does not spread like oil, so we recommend it
clean with WD40 and then lubricate with engine oil.

What oils will work for lubrication?
Any machine oil containing silicone, grease, Teflon or graphite is suitable for lubrication.
We recommend 3V1 oil.
